the only reason that the correct rear wheels are not on was because of there, some original correct lug nuts. i had to ship them in and the package what also had a tractor hood and a few more parts got lost?!?!? how?!?!?!!???????? i just got them cleaned up and set them on the transmission.

OK here is the problem! i got out there early that morning to paint the current project ( you will see it later) i always pushed that tractor out side to keep it clean,something smelled like gas. i did not think anything of it. about 10 hours later dad came to the shop and something smells like gas. went over to the tractor and ALL that paint was flaking off . That paint was the final coat. ~X( that pretty much happened (the face thing) what we think happened, was when the gas tank was setting around and it got dropped or bumped in which it made a crack. with 2 gallons of gas in it all of it went on the tractor. the second problem the carburetor. when we ran the tractor we never had the gas tank on it for more the 5 minutes or so. well one time we left the gas on from the gas tank ( the cracked one) and the gas was just poring in the cylinders and out the choke. it it was the float, it would not shut off the full supply and that gas has to go some were the third problem the radiator. well we still could not get the F&*@ radiator to stop leaking. so a few more bad words :-" and were said it is just a few small parts to switch out the F&@!!@# radiator. so we did. i bought another radiator for the other tractor and all we had to do was modify the fan a little so it would not it hit, paint it and we were good to go!

thanks stark and martijn 1. the round tube frame it boils down to money. John Deere gave the wagon works factory a project of making a small tractor for the small farmer (the were not selling may horse wagons with the tractors becoming popular) but they were given no budget. the tractor had to replace a team of horses and be cheep SOOOOooooo long story short the tubes were very cheep compared to designing a casting and producing it. Something interesting about the frame. one tube (the left one) is straight but the right one has a 1 or 2 degree angle to it. 2. the switch 1 reason is if something goes wrong you can just it off QUICK 2 you can shut the engine off from the seat 3 you can just flick the switch and walk away, quit handy some times and lastly the funny one's if some one is adjusting the engine (carb or mag) you can turn it off really quick and scary the F%!^ out of them =)) the rest will be covered in the next post O yes i will be posting all of my projects in this blog

Stark, I think I put just about all the old tractor and machinery pictures that I had on that former thread you mentioned. We had a lot of red and gray Ford tractors such as 600, 800, 801, series, and also a Fordson Super Major that we apparently never took any pictures of. I sure wish I had more pictures to share.

this is a John Deere under normal planting conditions(not the best photo) you see up the top the eight small bar grass almost non-see able that's the way I like it below that you can see the 85,100 that is the average planting population below that you can see the 85,000 that is the target population below that you can see 4 ha that is what I've done so far at 5.6 ha per hour and the vacuum is a vacuum in the planter

this is a John the monitor while planting I've turned off three boxes to do the middle of this block you can you can see the three little bar graphs of our download indicating that those three boxers arenot planting the pressure gauges to the left indicated pressure in the system if there was a fertiliser blockage the gauges would swing up another 50% and if they ran out of fertiliser to drop back half the dicky John Lan manager also has monitors that will go off about half a hectare before they run out

okay a bit of planting out the the back window in the middle at the top is a oil cooler as today when I was plenty it was 42°C just below the oil cooler you can see the auto greaser which runs of compressed air from the tractor and gives the John Deere a full Greas every 15 minutes

okay this is office top left UHF radio and the commercial channel radio just behind the steering well is the main screen for the automatic steering to the right of the the Fendt screen telephone car kit slightly above into the right is the Dicky John land managers 2this controls the air seeder above the Dicky John is a John Deere Green Star controller which controls all the Planters functions below and to the right the blackbox is the John Deere half with disconnect control you can also see the iPod and the two pressure gauges up near the microphones are for the air seeder oh yes nearly forgot just in front of the steering wheel is the TV I'd don't think I have forgottten any think if you find something you want to know about give me a call

this is the back of the tractor and the hydraulic pump which pumps the hydraulic oil for the front mounted air seeder. the tractor would have enough hydraulic capacity but I would have to run at high revs or all the time as the John Deere planter has a large requirement of oil as well. it has two electrohydraulic drives for the seed metering and a vacuum fan and you still have to have a capacity to lift it up and down and then there's the markers

a couple of pictures of the machine the John Deere does not come out with dry fertiliser on this model the air seeder blows the two fertilisers back from the front and I've added the distribution heads to the fertiliser openers which originally did liquid fertiliser to liquid fertiliser is now sprayed in the seed trench just in front of the closing wheels

Super looking combine CME, it would be great to see a video of it working. There are very few massey combines in Ireland as they have very few massey dealers that actually support the combines so id doubt that I will ever see a monster massey like that working over here. My cousin bought a new massey combine which was an MF29 with a small header back in the late 80's and has got nothing but trouble from it ever since, the drives even locked up solid on it twice as he was driving along the road and he would have been fired out through the front windscreen if the combine was going any faster so horror stories like this turned people off early on. Thanks guys. @ CME, The combine has a 16ft cutter and it is a five walker machine that has the capacity to cut around 12 tons per hour pending on conditions. The combine has been very reliable since we got it back in 2003 and it is well able for any type of heavy crop. It was first registered in 1995. We harvest around 350 to 400 acres with this machine, mainly barley, wheat and oilseed rape. well im going to try and awswer everything at once here lol to start off this photo was taken November 18th 2009 and my 850 worked awesome this year i rebuilt the whole thing from front to back augers shafts bearing chains belts A/C the mud hog 4 wheel drive was all rebuilt aswell, along with new tires and alittle paint in spots and actually i pretty much did the same thing to my uncle's 850 aswell believe it or not every thing in this picture my uncle has the mate to i kinda wanted to have all the tractors in the picture but he didnt think it was worth while lol .... all these tractors are kinda all over the place early to late 80's and early 90's and trust me they were alittle beat up i started painting them last year and i just finished the 3070 and the 3120 this summer. in some places a hammer was needed to smooth out the edges altho the 3070 is only half done i need it paint the cab yet ... but everything on all these tractors and combine works 100% it took a long time but i finally fixed everything thats also including the MF880 plow mounted to the 3120 and the MF820s hooked to the 4840 ....as for my 2675 ...it has been replaced with my 3120, the 2675 even tho it was a good tractor it had alot of weak areas. as for the different models i really cant say forsure there are a bunch of 3000 series tractors that i have never seen before ...the most common ones over here are the 3070,3090,3120,3120T and the 3140 and again im not really sure if the 850's and 860's were ever sold anywhere other than north america ... i am only 24 years old and i cant really say that i can remember the 850's when they were brand new altho i wish i could but i do read alot and try and learn as much as i can....now im def. not sure about this but i think! that the 855's and the 865's were sold world wide altho i could be completetly worng on that too.. thanks for looking everyone! i hope i answered everything

I have no idea why they took of the rear dual on one side. They had more green combines on the lot than red ones. :D
